Jan Hus Monument is a memorial bronze statue located on the Old Town Square in Prague, Czech Republic. The statue represents the Bohemian reformer and theologian Jan Hus, who was burned at the stake for his beliefs in 1415. The monument was erected in 1915 to celebrate the 500th anniversary of Hus’ martyrdom. The statue is 17 meters high and is placed on a stone pedestal decorated with scenes from Hus’ life and work. The monument was designed by Czech sculptor Ladislav Šaloun. It is a well-known landmark in Prague and a popular tourist attraction.
